George Russell doesn't want to see a mandatory rookie rule in F1

There's a slight hint that the 2021 changes might force Formula 1 teams to have a rookie sit in their car for two FP1 sessions during the season. But young George Russell doesn't think this will be a good idea. Russell, who is currently competing in his first Formula 1 season, was helped by Force India who gave them their car during a few FP1 sessions as he worked his way up to a full-time seat. But Russell doesn't believe all the teams should be doing it. "It's a great idea to try and give experience to young drivers. But personally, I don't think it's a good idea because going into an FP1 session for 20 laps, these rookie drivers are going to try and prove what they have,"...
