Magnussen waiting for 'right time' to race Le Mans with his father

Haas driver Kevin Magnussen has admitted he has permission to race the 24 hour Le Mans with his father but is waiting for the right time to compete at the triple crown event. Magnussen has competed in the pinnacle of motorsport since 2014 and has since made 89 starts across three teams: McLaren, Renault and his current team Haas. The Danish driver is the son of four-time Le Mans winner Jan Magnussen who also raced in Formula 1 making 24 starts and making his last appearance at the 98 Canadian Grand Prix.
