Kvyat: It would have sucked if we hadn't scored points after Sainz battle

Canadian Grand Prix – Toro Rosso's Daniil Kvyat says that his race on Sunday ‘would have sucked' if he hadn't managed to rescue a points finish by the end. After Alex Albon's race was effectively ended on Lap 1 after picking up damage from a touch with the Alfa Romeo of Antonio Giovinazzi, the other Toro Rosso of Daniil Kvyat managed to salvage a point after a strong finish. Enjoying an early race battle with Racing Point's Sergio Perez, Kvyat pitted on Lap 12 to ditch his Mediums and swap to the Hard tyre to get to the end.
