Canadian Grand Prix – Carlos Sainz has been handed a three-place grid drop for impeding another driver during qualifying. The McLaren driver had looked strong during Friday practice, and – along with team-mate Lando Norris – managed to progress into Q3, giving McLaren their second double-Q3 appearance of the season. However, he was judged to have blocked Toro Rosso's Alexander Albon during the first part of qualifying, with replays showing the McLaren getting in the way in turns one and two.
