Fernando Alonso highlights Carlin’s Indy under performance issues

Former double Formula 1 Champion Fernando Alonso has taken a dig at McLaren's technical partner for the Indianapolis 500, Carlin after failing to qualify for the 103rd running of the Indianapolis 500. The Woking-based manufacturer paired with successful British team Carlin Racing, owned by Trevor Carlin, who are well known for their success in many junior formula, but was only in their second full season of competition in IndyCar, having dipped their toes into the water in 2018 with a double entry for Max Chilton and Charlie Kimball.
