Leclerc: I just didn’t do the job

Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc began self-flagellating himself from the moment he slammed the wall in Turn 8 during qualifying for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix turning the probable joy of pole position into an early shower and disappointment. The 21-year-old was quick to take the blame for the Q2 shunt and declare himself 'very stupid' in the immediate aftermath of the crash that turned an afternoon of high hopes into more disappointment for the Italian team who are struggling to catch a break while their rivals Mercedes wipe the floor with them.
