Ross Brawn believes the so-called B-team model should be preserved in Formula 1, arguing it helps new and smaller teams to compete. This model, where teams source much of their parts from other teams, has been heavily criticised by Renault principal Cyril Abiteboul, while Haas boss Guenther Steiner, who's team have such a relationship with Ferrari, and Toro Rosso chief Franz Tost who have a similar partnership with Red Bull, have defended the model.
