Sir Patrick Head set to return to Williams on consultancy basis

Williams co-founder Sir Patrick Head is set to return to the squad on a short-term consultancy basis, as the team attempts to recover from its dismal start to 2019. Williams finished last in the 2018 Constructors’ Championship and several leading figures departed at phases in the year, including chief designer Ed Wood, head of aero Dirk de Beer, along with Rob Smedley. Head co-founded Williams alongside Sir Frank Williams in the 1970s and was an instrumental figure in its success through the 1980s and 1990s.
