Mission Winnow returns to Ferrari team name

An updated version of the 2019 Formula 1 entry list has confirmed Ferrari has again tweaked its official name, reflecting its sponsorship from Philip Morris International. Ferrari has been partnered for several decades by PMI and last year the company launched its Mission Winnow project. For 2019 it was entered as Scuderia Ferrari Mission Winnow and ran the decals during pre-season testing. That prompted Australian authorities to investigate the legality of Ferrari’s Mission Winnow branding and the team instead opted to replace the logos at last weekend’s Grand Prix.
