Daniel Ricciardo's helmet voted favourite by Motorsport Week readers

Daniel Ricciardo's first race with Renault might have ended in disaster after he lost his front-wing before he'd even reached Turn 1 and then later retired from the race – his home grand prix – but he can at least take some pleasure in knowing his helmet is a winner! Motorsport Week held a vote on all 20 drivers helmets, asking you to vote for the best design, and after thousands of votes, Ricciardo's unique design came out on top with 25% of the vote. The Australian driver went all out on his new helmet, working with designer Nicolai Sclater to come up with something unique now he is no longer bound by Red Bull's strict branding guidelines.
