A letter has emerged stating that Zandvoort has until the 31st of March to organise a Grand Prix.  In a letter from Formula One World Championship Limited, Zandvoort is informed that the circuit will be granted the exclusive right to organize a Dutch Grand Prix until 31 March 2019. It can, therefore, be suggested that Zandvoort still prefers a Grand Prix on the TT circuit of Assen.
