Formula 3 to use high degradation tyres in 2019

The new Formula 3, which will replace the old GP3, will feature tyres which have high levels of degradation. According to Mario Isola, this will make the car "a little harder to drive". "We have developed a specific tire for the F3 because some of the characteristics of the car are different," Isola told the Spanish branch of Motorsport.com. "We have a clear request from the developer to have more degradation. On their list [they ask] more degradation of the rear, to make the car skid more.
