Ericsson hopes Leclerc can boost his reputation

Marcus Ericsson is hoping Charles Leclerc performs well at Ferrari because it would 'reflect good on him'. The pair were teammates at Alfa Romeo Sauber in 2018, but the rookie Monegasque driver impressed in his first season in Formula 1, prompting Ferrari to sign him up for the 2019 season. Leclerc will partner four-time World Champion Sebastian Vettel at the Scuderia, as the duo look to end Mercedes' reign of terror in the turbo-hybrid era. Ericsson will make the switch to IndyCar next year, with Sauber announcing Kimi Raikkonen and Antonio Giovinazzi as their 2019 line-up. The Swedish driver does hope to return to Formula One in the future, and hopes Leclerc 'kicks some ass' at Ferrari...
