Ocon: 2020 Formula 1 drive or I'm out
Esteban Ocon says he will give up on his dream of becoming a F1 World Champion and switch his focus to another series if he doesn't land a 2020 drive. Despite impressing many in the paddock during his two years with Force India, Ocon is without a race seat for the 2019 championship. Losing his race seat to Lance Stroll, the Frenchman was linked to moves to McLaren, Renault, Toro Rosso and Williams but none materialised given his ties to Mercedes. Instead of racing in 2019, Ocon will fill the role of Mercedes' test and reserve driver as he waits in the wings for a 2020 drive.
