Sainz wants a ‘family' out of McLaren

Carlos Sainz may only be starting the first year of his two McLaren stint but already the Spaniard is thinking long-term. Last year McLaren announced that Sainz would join the team, partnering rookie driver Lando Norris in 2019. It is set to be one of the more interesting line ups as the duo, both tipped as stars of the future, go head-to-head while trying to return McLaren to winning ways. The Woking team, who finished sixth in last year's championship following the switch to Renault engines, last won a grand prix back in 2012.
