Daniel Ticktum aiming for Super License with Winter Asian F3 series
Red Bull's protégé Daniel Ticktum is set to participate in the upcoming Formula 3 Asian Winter Series in an attempt to secure enough points for a Formula 1 Super Licence. Ticktum finished behind Mick Schumacher who won last year’s European Formula 3 Championship and he is only a few points of the 40 needed in order to race in Formula 1. Ticktum was in contention for the 2019 Toro Rosso Formula 1 seat, as Red Bull chased options after Pierre Gasly’s promotion but Toro Rosso chose to look elsewhere.
