Robert Kubica reveals details of tough contract decision in 2018

Robert Kubica says it was "not easy" to turn down Ferrari's offer to become their Formula 1 development driver in 2019. Instead, Kubica will make his return to full-time F1 as a Williams driver in the upcoming season. Ferrari offered the role after Antonio Giovinazzi and Daniil Kvyat departed to fulfil driving positions at Sauber and Toro Rosso. During the 2017 season, Kubica was Williams' test and development driver and managed to get on track during practice sessions.
