Ericsson describes Formula 1 as "artificial" after IndyCar test

Marcus Ericsson was left feeling impressed after his first IndyCar test ahead of the 2019 season. In an interview after, he said the cars made him remember why he "fell in love with racing" and labelled Formula 1 as "artificial". Ericsson completed his final Formula 1 race for Sauber in Abu Dhabi and now looks straight towards his 2019 challenge. His day at Sebring started out as a spectator. "I'd never seen the cars live before It was cool to see the other guys go out. The car looks really cool. I've watched a lot of clips on youtube to prepare myself for this," Ericsson told F1i.
