Louis Deletraz enjoys his ‘step forward' on first day in F1 car
Louis Deletraz took part in his Formula 1 test at Yas Marina on Wednesday. While Romain Grosjean & Kevin Magnussen enjoy the start of their winter break, Haas opted to give two new young guns track time in the VF-18 over the two day Pirelli test in Abu Dhabi. Tuesday saw Pietro Fittipaldi at the wheel. The 22 year old grandson of World Champion Emerson Fittipaldi, he had a solid day although didn't get as much mileage as he would have wanted, due to an engine issue. Haas clearly have a penchant for the latest generation drivers. While Kevin Magnussen is the son of 90s racer Jan, they opted to test Louis Deletraz in the car on Wednesday.
