Steiner claims Renault are "desperate"

Guenther Steiner believes that Renault's protest of Haas' car in the Italian Grand Prix a couple of months ago, proves that the French side are "desperate" in their battle with the American outfit. Last Thursday, the FIA held a hearing and decided to uphold the decision to disqualify Haas driver Romain Grosjean from the Monza Grand Prix, after a successful protest from Renault regarding the floor on the VF-18. Haas and Renault are locked in a fierce battle for "the best of the rest" tag - behind the big three; Mercedes, Ferrari and Red Bull.
