Vasseur Praises Leclerc, Ericsson For ‘Excellent' Tyre Management To Double-Points Finish In Mexico

Alfa Romeo Sauber F1 Team principal Frédéric Vasseur was pleased with Marcus Ericsson and Charles Leclerc‘s effort at the Mexican Grand Prix, securing a double points finish for the Swiss team. Both Ericsson and Leclerc snatched a spot in Qualifying three ahead of the race on Sunday, and were able to transform that into a double points finish. Leclerc's seventh place and Ericsson's ninth helped push Sauber above Red Bull Toro Rosso Honda in the constructors' championship. Sauber now hold eighth place with 36 points, three more than the Italian team with two races remaining.
