Hamliton's second run late in qualifying proved enough to secure him top spot, just edging out Kimi Raikkonen while Sebastian Vettel's best also fell agonisingly short. The top three were split by less than a tenth of a second, with Valtteri Bottas fourth from Daniel Ricciardo, who had a quiet qualifying session.
