Double amputee Billy Monger took his first pole position since returning to the sport at Donington Park after his horrific accident last year at the same venue. Monger set a 1:24.769s to take pole by 0.173s from his nearest rival. In an F4 race at Donington last year, Monger hit the back of a stationary car in a horrific high speed accident. It was a crash that cost the 19-year-old both of his legs.
