Perez: I deserved the drive-through penalty

Singapore Grand Prix – Sergio Perez believes he was right to be given a penalty for his part in the collision with Sergey Sirotkin. The Force India driver was involved in a couple of collisions during the race at the Marina Bay Circuit, which contributed to the team coming away from Singapore with no points. At the start of the race, with both Force India's running in the top ten, Perez made contact with team-mate Esteban Ocon, which sent the latter into the wall and out of the race. Later on in the race Perez, who was forced to pit early due to being equipped with the hypersoft tyre, was running behind Williams' Sirotkin.
