Formula One race director Charlie Whiting was not impressed by Romain Grosjean's behaviour on the track during the Singapore Grand Prix, as the Frenchman committed “one of the worst cases of ignoring blue flags I’ve seen”. Grosjean got handed a five-second penalty plus two penalty points on his racing licence for ignoring a blue flag on Lewis Hamilton. Grosjean was in the midst of a battle of his own, as he was duelling Sergey Sirotkin of Williams.
