Toro Rosso and Red Bull to Expand Technical Collaboration in 2019

Franz Tost has revealed that Red Bull Toro Rosso Honda and Aston Martin Red Bull Racing will collaborate in a more extensive manner in 2019, with the outfits set to share a number of components including the Honda power unit. 2019 will mark the second season of Toro Rosso running with the Japanese engine manufacturer but it will also be the first season that the sister team at Red Bull also align with Honda, but as well as the engines, team principal Tost has revealed that they will also share the same ‘rear part’ of the car, which means the gearbox and rear suspension as well as the hydraulics and electronics.
