Vandoorne aiming to ‘give everything' as he fights for F1 career
Singapore Grand Prix – McLaren's Stoffel Vandoorne says he's viewing the Singapore weekend as one of the last opportunities he has to show what he can do. With McLaren confirming last week that Vandoorne will be dropped from the team at the end of the current season, the Belgian driver is currently without a race seat for next year. With just seven races remaining on the calendar, Vandoorne says he's doing his best to rectify the situation: “Although I’m very much looking to the future since I confirmed I won’t be racing for McLaren next season, I’m also 100 per cent determined to give everything for the remaining grands prix this season.
