Whiting Happy with Sauber Fixes to ‘Small Design Flaw' with DRS after Ericsson Crash

Charlie Whiting has said the Alfa Romeo Sauber F1 Team have corrected what caused the Drag Reduction System (DRS) issues during free practice for the Italian Grand Prix, and there are no further concerns of any other problems this weekend. A DRS failure caused a high-speed crash for Marcus Ericsson that saw the Swede go for a wild ride at the first chicane at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza, with the car rolling twice before coming to a stop on the grass, and there were also concerns about the sister car of Charles Leclerc, which spent time in the garage as the mechanics worked on the fix.
