Lando Norris is willing to be patient in his F1 targets

Lando Norris says he is open-minded about his future though explained that graduating to a McLaren seat for 2019 remains his “perfect situation”. Norris joined McLaren’s young driver scheme last year and swept to the Formula 3 title, before stepping up to Formula 2 this season. Norris has had a mixed campaign, scoring just one win at the Bahrain season-opener, and has yet to take a pole position, but holds second in the standings, a mere 12 points behind George Russell.
