Lando Norris has ‘really enjoyable' day of testing for McLaren
Testing – McLaren ran their reserve driver Lando Norris for Tuesday's test day at the Hungaroring. McLaren's young reserve driver, Lando Norris, took part in the Hungarian test on Tuesday as he took the wheel of the MCL33 for the day. The reigning F3 Champion, currently racing in Formula 2 with Carlin, tested for the team earlier in this year when he took part in the Spanish in-season test. Completing 107 laps on Tuesday, Norris finished P4 with a best time of 1:19.294 set on the Soft tyre. This was 3.6 seconds slower than the best time of the day; that of Antonio Giovinazzi in the Ferrari with an unofficial track record set on the HyperSoft tyre. “It was really enjoyable to get...
