An intriguing stand-off has developed between Toro Rosso and McLaren over the services of highly rated technical director James Key, with Red Bull claiming he is going nowhere soon while Zak Brown insists the highly rated engineer is heading to Woking in due course. Red Bull consultant Helmut Marko insists that Key has a contract with the energy drinks organisation until 2020 But Marko pointed out that the Woking outfit broke protocol by not negotiating an exit deal for Key with Toro Rosso before announcing the appointment and is adamant that the Englishman will be forced to see out his contract to the end.
