Hamilton on Q1 stoppage

Lewis Hamilton says that bump didn't cause the car failure that forced him stoppage in Q1. Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton says that the bump he ran over didn't have an impact on the hydraulic fault which forced him out of Qualifying. Hamilton ran wide over a kerb which jolted his car, before his car came to an abrupt stop. The Brit was asked if this had an impact, and he told Sky Sports F1: "No, I think it failed before then." Hamilton will start in 14th tomorrow, whilst his fierce rival Sebastian Vettel managed pole position. He has "no idea" where he might be able to recover to, like he did at Silverstone.
