Alonso aiming on improving qualifying pace
Fernando Alonso has set his sights on improving his qualifying speed at Hockenheim this weekend. Alonso is determined to perform better in qualifying for the German Grand Prix this weekend. The McLaren driver has seven point finishes this season as we approach the halfway point - meaning the Spaniard occupies eighth place in the drivers' standings. Alonso has raced on the track ten times, including the old layout in 2001. "I enjoy racing at Hockenheim and have won there three times so it's great to be back after a break last year," Alonso told The Checkered Flag.
