Hartley takes fresh power unit parts ahead of British GP

Honda has opted to fit Brendon Hartley's Formula 1 power unit with two new parts ahead of Sunday's British Grand Prix at Silverstone, taking advantage of his pit lane start to stockpile additional parts for the season. Hartley crashed out of final practice at Silverstone on Saturday following a suspension failure on his Toro Rosso car, with the resulting damage forcing him to miss qualifying. The team changed the monocoque on Hartley's car, meaning he was required to start the race from the pit lane, with Honda opting to take advantage of the situation to take two new power unit components without any additional penalties.
