Le Mans 24: Toyota team quotes
Toyota Gazoo Racing won the 86th Le Mans 24 Hours, taking an historic first victory at its 20th attempt. Both cars ran nearly trouble-free to take a commanding 1-2 finish to flush away the utter disappointment of 2016 that saw Toyota's leading car lose the win in the final lap. Sébastien Buemi, Kazuki Nakajima and Fernando Alonso in the #8 TS050 HYBRID started from pole position and took the chequered flag after 388 tense and often dramatic laps at the Circuit de La Sarthe to extend their lead in the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC).
