Verstappen on Canada: "If I would've started 1st, I would've won the race"
Red Bull's Max Verstappen has claimed that if he would've started from pole position at the Canadian Grand Prix, he would've won as well, as the Dutchman explained that he was very happy with Red Bull's pace. In Paddock Pass on the F1's YouTube channel, presenter Will Buxton asked Verstappen why he couldn't end qualifying and the race in first, as he did in the practice sessions. "You have to understand that they [Mercedes and Ferrari] can ramp up their power, so then you are behind," Verstappen said when explaining that he couldn't take pole position.
