Rosenqvist on pole ahead of da Costa – Qualifying Report
Mexico City E-Prix – Mahindra Racing driver Felix Rosenqvist took pole position in Mexico City, ahead of Andretti’s Antonio Felix da Costa who scored his first front row start. Rosenqvist locked up into the Turns 3/4 chicane, missing the apex but he still had an advantage of two tenths of a second when he crossed the line with a time of 1:01.645 in super pole. The three points the Swiss driver has scored for pole puts him two points behind championship leader Jean-Eric Vergne. Da Costa starts from his career best qualifying position, with Alex Lynn qualifying in third for DS Virgin but he takes a 10-place grid penalty for a gearbox change so will start 13th.
