Formula One’s sole tyre manufacturer Pirelli changes the colour of its ultrasoft compound for this weekend’s American GP. The swap applies only for this race weekend and is part of a worldwide campaign. The Milan-based tyre company does not intend to introduce a new compound or any changes on its softest tyre. It will only swap the purple colour on the sidewalls of the ultrasoft compound to pink.
