Vettel takes pole ahead of the Red Bulls – Qualifying Report

Singapore Grand Prix – Sebastian Vettel secured pole position for the Singapore Grand Prix ahead of Max Verstappen and Daniel Ricciardo. Vettel's championship challenge was aided by claiming pole position at the Marina Bay circuit with a lap record time of 1:39.491. The Red Bull Racing pairing of Verstappen and Ricciardo were closely matched throughout the qualifying hour, with Verstappen edging ahead of his team-mate by less than 0.03 of a second. The second Ferrari of Kimi Raikkonen claimed fourth place ahead of the Mercedes duo; championship leader Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas.
