Formula 1 Doctor Sid Watkins has passed away
Formula 1's greatest doctor Sid Watkins (pictured above with Ayrton Senna) has passed away on Wednesday night at the age of 84. Doctor Watkins was instrumental in transforming Formula 1's archaic medical facilities and staffing at race tracks around the world in the seventies and eighties into state-of-the-art facilities that prevail without compromise today at every grand prix venue.
