McLaren's Norris likely to join F2 or Super Formula in 2018

British rising star Lando Norris is likely to graduate to Formula 2 or the Japanese Super Formula next season. The 17-year-old Formula 3 European Championship rookie starred on his official Formula 1 test debut for McLaren at the Hungaroring last week. Norris currently lies second in the F3 standings and believes he will move up in 2018, even if he does not take the title. “I’m not 100%, but I am pretty sure I won’t be doing F3 next year,” said Norris, who got his F1 test for winning the 2016 McLaren Autosport BRDC Award.
