Bottas tops second practice as Ferrari edge closer
Finnish Mercedes driver Valtteri Bottas continued to lead the field in the second free practice session at Silverstone. Lewis Hamilton was again a close second as both Ferrari drivers managed to jump the Red Bull duo to go thrid and fourth fastest. The session saw Raikkonen go faster than his team mate again, despite a high speed spin at Becketts, basically ruining a set of soft tyres. Max Verstappen remained the fastest Red Bull Racing driver, 4 tenths quicker than his team mate, Daniel Ricciardo.
