Despite Sergio Perez' refusal to take team advice in Montreal and make way for teammate Esteban Ocon, Force India has opted not to change its policy on team orders. In the final stages of the Canadian Grand Prix, as Perez and Ocon pursued third-placed Daniel Ricciardo, the Frenchman, on fresher rubber, asked to be allowed through in order that he might challenge the Australian.
