FIA, F1, WEC and Formula E agree to improve calendar harmonisation

The FIA met with leading figures from Formula 1, the FIA World Endurance Championship and Formula E in Monaco, agreeing to work on improving calendar alignment. FIA president Jean Todt, F1 motorsports director Ross Brawn, WEC CEO Gerard Neveu and Formula E CEO Alejandro Agag convened over the Monaco GP weekend to discuss the issue. In the past, F1 has clashed with the iconic Le Mans 24 Hours, while regular Formula E and WEC clashes leave drivers racing in both having to choose between them. An FIA statement read: “Following discussions of the current calendars the group agreed to work towards a better alignment of all motorsport championship schedules in the coming seasons.”...
