Force India against Mercedes providing Honda with technical assistance

Force India would be strongly against Mercedes providing Honda with technical assistance in a bid to help the Japanese manufacturer catch up. There is speculation suggesting Mercedes and Honda are holding talks which would see the Anglo-German team assist Honda in the development of its power unit, as Mercedes reportedly did with Ferrari. Force India, which is a Mercedes customer team, would not support the proposal however, according to deputy team principal Bob Fernley.
