Jean Todt says he will stand for a third-term as FIA president

Jean Todt has announced he will seek a third term as president of the International Automobile Federation (FIA), when his current tenure comes to an end later this year. The former Ferrari boss announced the news in a letter to FIA club presidents, which he also posted on his personal Twitter account with the following message: 'Today I was proud to announce to all FIA Club Presidents my decision to run for a third presidential term at the FIA.' Todt, 71, succeeded former president Max Mosley in 2010 and secured a second term in 2014.
