Clear: Australia win 'fell into our hands'

– Ferrari's Head of Race Activities Jock Clear believes victory at the Australian Grand Prix "fell into our hands" after early leader Lewis Hamilton lost time behind Red Bull's Max Verstappen.Hamilton led away from pole position at Albert Park but was unable to break clear of Sebastian Vettel, and pitted on lap 17, amid complaints over his Ultra Soft tyres.Vettel inherited the lead and stayed out for five further laps, while Hamilton was compromised by filtering back out behind the yet-to-pit Verstappen.Vettel emerged from the pit lane narrowly ahead of Verstappen and from there cruised to victory, though Clear was conscious to acknowledge Hamilton's predicament as a...
