Haas’s Formula 1 rivals admit they hadn’t predicted its brilliant form at the Australian Grand Prix, as the outfit ended qualifying best of the rest behind the big three teams. Romain Grosjean recorded the American team’s best-ever grid position by qualifying sixth in Melbourne, ending up four tenths of a second clear of Felipe Massa’s Williams.
