Williams has become the first team to post images of its 2017 Formula 1 challenger, the FW40, ahead of the start of the new season. Formula 1 this season welcomes new regulations, focused on making cars quicker, predominantly due to increased levels of downforce and wider tyres from Pirelli. Williams has retained the thumb-nose on the front wing, with the most striking difference being its reshaped rear wing, as the overall Martini-based livery has been kept for another season.
