The British Racing Drivers' Club have dismissed reports that Silverstone will definitely drop the British GP, insisting a decision will not be made until mid-July. Newspapers claimed earlier this week that the circuit would exercise a clause in their Formula 1 contract to cease hosting the race after 2019. A report in The Sun quoted a source as saying "they will definitely drop the grand prix".
